Walker Art Center commissions artists to design public, temporary works of art for the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden that also serve as mini golf holes.

Write a plan for your own mini golf hole. Tom and Robyn chose a yellow watering can as the centerpiece for their hole. What image or idea will you incorporate? Why did you pick that design? What materials will you use to ensure that it holds up to the weather and frequent use? What would be the challenges of executing that design?

Now draw up a design or make a diorama of the mini-golf hole you described above. Using your knowledge of physics (friction, slopes, velocity, etc.) and geometry (angles) make sure the hole is both playable and visually appealing.
