Describe a treasured object that belongs to your family that has cultural meaning. Write about the stories that have been told about its history and its intrinsic value.

Among collections highlighted in this episode were ethnobotanical specimens. Featured were preserved corncobs which had been indigenously cultivated by the Native Americans from North America fifty to one hundred years ago. The Science Museum of Minnesota successfully germinated kernels of that ancient seed and planted it in their Three Sisters Garden located onsite.
