The holiday of Cinco De Mayo, The 5th Of May, commemorates the victory of the Mexican militia over the French army at The Battle Of Puebla in 1862. Ok, that one is for the history fanatics. It’s also a time when Mexican and Chicano heritage is celebrated, dances are performed, music blares out in the streets, and everyone has a great time. St. Paul’s west side is no different. It’s home to one of the largest Latino Communities in the Twin Cities and every year they kickoff Cinco de Mayo with their annual Low Rider Car Show.

What is a Low Rider, you may ask? No need to go Wikipedia for that one. The MN Original crew will school you!
