William Souder is a renowned writer, whose biography of John James Audubon, Under a Wild Sky, was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize. His other books include biographies of Rachel Carson, for which he was interviewed by American Experience and The Plague of Frogs, a non-fiction environmental book that elaborates on the science of mutated frogs and the implications for humans. He is on the Board of Directors of the Biographers International Organization, and is currently working on a biography of John Steinbeck expected to be published in 2019.
