In a search for the headwaters of Lake Superior for his narrative landscape project, LAKEHEAD, photographer David Bowman further connects with his family roots.
In addition to fine art photography, Bowman works editorially and commercially. His work can be seen in Vanity Fair, TIME, Glamour, Target, National Geographic, ESPN and Dwell. In 2013, Bowman became an independent member of National Geographic Creative, and in 2014 he was named Best Of ASMP by the American Society of Media Photographers.
