Having studied with a master wood carver in Sweden, Jim Sannerud’s turned wooden bowls are distinct in their oblong shapes, hand-carved details and vibrant milk paint finishes.

Always aware of his impact on the environment, Sannerud chooses his materials wisely—from wood on its last leg to non-toxic milk paint.
