Mixed-media artist Liza Sylvestre is inspired by the human body and how senses move throughout the body. Her swirling, organic drawings and paintings are influenced by a profound hearing loss that began when she was six years old. Now legally deaf, Sylvestre feels that her art “speaks to her.”
