A proud resident of Anoka County, Minnesota, Alex “Crankshaft” Larson sounds like he’s straight from the Mississippi Delta. While his music has elements of rockabilly, Crankshaft’s a bluesman at heart. His playing extends beyond the music itself and includes plenty of charisma and his trademark wardrobe: a suit, tie and plenty of hair gel.
