Employing sewing thread as material, fiber artist Randy Walker creates work that is three-dimensional and architectural. He wraps objects like cheese curd strainers, picture frames and silos all with simple needle and thread to create a dizzying maze.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and has had numerous public art commissions for the Twin Cities and beyond, including a rocket ship in Brackett Park.
