Josh Koestenbaum is the Associate Principal cellist for the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. A member of the SPCO since 1980, he has appeared frequently as a soloist. An active teacher, Josh earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and his master’s from Yale. With frequent visits to his local YMCA and his trusted instrument adjuster, he works hard to keep both his body and his instrument in tune. Josh can bench press 120 pounds.
