Doug Beasley’s black and white photographs remind us that there is sacred in the everyday, that there is a place where, according to his website, “Earth Meets Spirit.” His Zen approach, combined with his fine technique, makes for some truly amazing photographs. Beasley taught at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, the University of Minnesota, and Carlton College and is a three-time recipient of the McKnight photography fellowship. His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally.
