#111: Wing Young Huie, Irish Dancers + The Small Cities

MN Original is a new weekly series produced by Twin Cities Public Television. Each week, the series will showcase the depth and breadth of Minnesota’s creative community and introduce viewers to the many original artists who produce extraordinary work right here in Minnesota.

MN Original Episode #111:

Wing Young Huie’s University Ave project boasts six miles of photographs that are hung in storefronts along the avenue.

Cormac O’Sé is the director of O’Shea Irish Dancer in St. Paul, Minnesota. His performers Taylor and Meghan are headed to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall to compete in the Irish Dancing Championships. They share their love of Irish dancing, the details of their intense training, and the inside story on those wigs! Growing out of bands like Wes Burdine & The Librarians and Realspace, The Small Cities have a sound we can’t resist. Dave Osborn, Jimmy Osterholt, Todd Bratulich and Leif Bjornson join us in the tpt studios to share their talents.
