**UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who has submitted an artist! We have received TONS of e-mails with fantastic suggestions for this series. At this point, we have contacted and slated enough artists for our next “season” but still welcome additional submissions for future consideration.

MN Original is reviving our monthly video web series, Artist Day Jobs, and we need your help!
Are you an artist (or do you know of one) who works an interesting day job to support your artistic endeavors? Are you a painter who is also a prize-winning dog show handler? Or maybe you’re a choreographer who also farms corn? Or perhaps you’re a photographer who works as a train conductor?
Give us a shout.
Our team is interested in capturing video and photos of artists at work which will be a part of our monthly video series on MNOriginal.org.

I am an at-home dad with a four year old son, six year old daughter, two dogs and a cat. On Friday evenings, I work I work at a Group Home in Saint Paul and have known some of the guys who live there for 20 years. I also paint, sketch, make my own acoustic guitars, rebuild electric guitars, and draw LOTS of scary monsters with my son. It’s a busy day life that I love and allows me to keep creating.
Say, now. I play accordion and write rhymes, ok. Also I paint portraits, landscapes, murals and am a printmaker and charcoal enthusiast. My studio is called the Loose Tooth Saloon of Art on the Easy Bean Farm a 17 acre vegetable CSA operation near Milan, MN. But I am a recluse. Because I’m busy.
I am a substitute teacher for a local school district. It is one of those jobs that sometimes it is great and others you wonder what the heck you are getting yourself into! I love when I can get those substitute art teacher jobs though!
I do all 4 elements of hip-hop in big scale p rodjects, I also do video and I teach others how to do what. I do. I’m really interesting so please pick me. ( peep the website hiphop.biz)
