In his Northeast Minneapolis studio, Scott McGlasson makes chairs, milking stools, and drink caddies full of old world charm and modern elements. Educators' Guide

Artist bio:
Scott McGlasson is an artisan and woodworker intent on melding together old world technique with modern style and grace. The results are beds, credenzas, bowls, and other ordinary household items with clean lines and a smooth finish. They strike you as something you might see in Dwell magazine. Scott went to school to become an educator and taught English for awhile before he discovered his passion for making things. In a world where most of our everyday items come from factories overseas, Scott’s rustic modern designs are a change from the norm.
