Employing strands of fiber, artist Randy Walker creates sculptural works that are three-dimensional and architectural. He wraps objects like cheese curd strainers, picture frames and silos all with simple materials like sewing thread and twine to create a dizzying maze.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon and has had numerous public art commissions for the Twin Cities and beyond, including a rocket ship in Brackett Park
