David Bowen’s installations examine the contrast between natural and mechanical systems. Liza Sylvestre paints detailed watercolor and ink abstracts that are informed by profound hearing loss, which began in childhood. Drury Brennan draws upon graffiti and Asian calligraphy in his large-scale typographical improvisations. A second generation artist, Stuart Loughridge’s paintings and intaglio etchings are inspired by his international travels. Plus soulful singer/songwriter and finalist on NBC’s The Voice, Nicholas David performs Monsters Sleep at Mancini’s Char House in Saint Paul.
