Longtime friends Jeremy Ylvisaker, Michael Lewis and J.T. Bates of the rock and roll band Alpha Consumer perform Honey Effigy. Each member is on the road performing with other musicians including Dosh, Andrew Bird and Bon Iver. Jeremy Ylvisaker is also a member of The Cloak Ox. In addition to bass, Michael Lewis plays the saxophone and is a founding member of the contemporary jazz group Happy Apple. J.T. Bates plays drums with The Pines and leads a jazz residency at Icehouse in Minneapolis.
